ESMAP’s Integrated Electrification Planning program helps countries to develop electrification and investment plans, use geospatial tools for least-cost planning, and syndicate financing for scaling up mini grid and off-grid solutions. It works closely with ESMAP’s Global Facility on Mini Grids and Off-Grid Solar Scale-Up to strengthen collaboration between governments and the private sector and create the enabling environment for local companies to expand services to more remote areas that are difficult to reach.
