This session was convened by ESMAP’s SRMI and EY as a follow-up to the World Bank Spring Meetings, to discuss the acceleration of renewable energy solutions in Africa through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The event focused on overcoming the challenges of developing renewable energy projects in Africa and how to ensure value delivery for end users.

Participants delved into World Bank's strategies to implement renewable energy deployment through PPPs, the latest experiences of EY Infrastructure Advisory and Climate Change practice and the recent SRMI’s position paper: How to Unlock Pipelines of Bankable Renewable Energy Projects in Emerging Markets and Developing Countries?
