SEforALL and ESMAP deliver a call to action to the international development community to join us in derisking sustainable electrification of health facilities to enable additional funding to the sector. Kigali, on March 14th, 2024.
The event convened international development partners, donors from government agencies, philanthropic organizations, private sector actors and investors in a day-long Roundtable event on Derisking Sustainable Electrification of Health Facilities. The purpose was to discuss with donors, DFIs and private sector actors core issues related to sustainable electrification of public facilities, including: a) presenting and discussing existing and upcoming sustainable electrification of public institutions projects and b) discussing the risks facing these models and opportunities for mechanisms to de-risk them.
