The World Bank is stepping up its engagement in the household energy sector. To support these efforts, ESMAP held a training session that looked at successful approaches for clean cooking initiatives in a number of countries, including China, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

As the World Bank substantially expands its renewable energy portfolio, ESMAP, in collaboration with the Advisory Services of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), has launched a comprehensive renewable energy training program for World Bank Group staff.
