Pacific Women in Power: Women’s Employment in the Pacific Power Sector – Baseline Report Data highlights: Women make up less than 19% of employees in energy utilities, primarily in administrative roles. Only 5% of technical positions are held by women. Women's representation in management is under 22%. Among managers and engineers already working in the sector, 87% believe a woman can perform as well as a man in a leadership role in the energy sector. |
