Learn more about how the $400 million World Bank project leveraged by ESMAP is already providing electricity to 700,000 people. The project is helping Myanmar implement its National Electrification Plan, which aims to bring electricity to everyone by 2030, by installing modern solar home systems and mini-grids in remote villages that would otherwise have to wait years for a grid connection. Access to electricity will help Ei Po Po Aung to study without disruption, helping her achieve her dream of becoming a teacher in the future.
